The horse show date is set, and now it s time to look for your Nashville horse show event photographer. Locating the right horse trailer, the most amazing equine partner, the perfect show saddle, the most stunning dressage hat and coat are only a small part of the adventure and the excitement of the much anticipated horse show day. A fortunate rider will have friends and family to help her search out these important competition items and organize them to perfection. Your big event day should be a fun and happy event, even though it is very time consuming and filled with details that only the horse show family or barn group can fathom!

We here at Defining Moments Photography feel the equine event photographer should be the least of your horse event day worries! As your chosen show photographer we will be the one person you can really count on to be nowhere and everywhere, see everything and not be seen. The horse show day jitters are normal, and part of the wonderful process! It s a commonly know fact though, that it s easy to lose the finer details of the event day in the blur of activity that surrounds the riders and competitors.

It s always heartwarming as the candid photographer to see our riders look at their show day photos and be brought to joyful tears over a memory captured by an opportune photo. A lifetime of memory-making goes on during the short horse show season - it s up to the discerning photographer to catch those moments and save them for the rider.

As your event photographer of choice, we will provide you with the security of having two cameras and plenty of backup equipment on the scene at all times.. you should expect your event photographer and the photographer assistant to be on time, dressed well, non smoker, polite, in command of the situation and easy to work with.

We will get pictures of your DETAILS, your riding style, your class performance, your interaction with your horse and your friends. We will show the rider and the horse interacting with each other. We will strive to capture the emotions and the joy of the day.

Candid, unobtrusive photography is very important… some of your family members and friends will only be in the Nashville area for this one event and then never make it back to Nashville again. Details are everything!

Your image package can be chosen from one of our existing packages, or can be tailored to your specific needs. We can and will be as flexible as you need us to be. You may add or subtract any item you choose to. For example, the show events that go on into the night can be included in your horse whow event photography package for additional hourly rates.

Don t forget the training shows and warm up sessions. We have heard the funniest stories, and had the most magical and memorable moments described to us regarding the classes and lessons in the early stages of a rider’s career. We are willing to come and record those moments for you as well.

We will be happy to work closely with your trainer to orchestrate the formal photographs. Your trainer will often be your most valuable asset by the end of this hectic day. They know the details that often get overlooked on the road to planning the perfect course ride. You dont want to have the show day arrive and then suddenly remember the horse coggins is nowhere to be found!

Nashville, Murfreesboro, and Franklin Tennessee are great places to have a horse show or equestrian event! Historic churches, majestic gardens, towering trees and chapels are all tourist favorites and a Nashville horse show photographers dream. Here you will find natural light and stained glass, antique wood and atmosphere galore. We have wedding chapels which are non secular and beautiful. Franklin is a great place to have dinner too. The Factory at Franklin has great atmosphere and large halls for dancing and dining. Historic Franklin has Bed and Breakfast venues which are always very popular with honeymooners and out-of-town guests who will be staying in the Nashville area for a few days before and after the event festivities.

Don’t forget the rehearsal dinner.  We have heard the funniest stories, and had the most magical and memorable moments described to us regarding the toasts and conversations among the wedding party members at this dinner.  The wedding guests are outsiders here…special members only at this event!  We are willing to come and record those moments for you as well.

We will be happy to work closely with your wedding planner to orchestrate the formal photographs. Your wedding planner or coordinator will be your most valuable asset by the end of this hectic day. They know the details that often get overlooked on the road to planning the perfect wedding day. You don’t want to have the wedding day arrive and then suddenly remember the wedding cake hasn’t been picked up! Your wedding planner will be able to provide your out-of-town guests with maps of Nashville, accommodation suggestions, entertaining things to while they are here, etc.
